Begun in 2004, the Carillon String Quartet is comprised of four dedicated musicians, each bringing a unique aspect of their personality to the noble art of music. The quartet performs for all occasions, the most recent being private weddings, charity events, and various social events. The charity events that the quartet has performed include Providence Memorial Hospital Children’s Wing and the UTEP Health Sciences Art Auction. The social events include the Camino Real Easter Brunch, the El Paso Public Library, and various gallery openings.
Our members have worked with each other for more than five years and spend time with each other outside of the quartet, whether holding “fun” rehearsals and general music frivolity. Our repertoire encompasses a wide variety: from Mozart, Haydn, and Handel to Argentine Tangos and well-known jazz.
